Step-by-step use

Source Agreement

Put the trend engine, scanner, confirmed MACD, and reversal detection side by side for each coin and surface where they disagree.

  1. 1
    1. Choose the view

Choose a lookback window of 1, 6, or 24 hours.

  2. 2
    2. Review the context

Keep the default conflicts-first sort, or switch to best agreement or symbol order.

  3. 3
    3. Continue your review

Read each row’s four cells together with its tally before treating a single source as the answer.

Recommended attention order

What to review first

Source Agreement exists to show disagreement. Every other panel reports one view; this one puts four independent sources beside each other under every coin, so a contradiction cannot stay hidden.

1h / 6h / 24h → the four cells under each coin → the badge and “X of 4 agree” → the orange-outlined cell → cells reading No data

  1. Pick the window (1h / 6h / 24h buttons)

On a phone they are inside Filter and sort. Trend engine, MACD confirmed and Reversal are read over that window; Scanner is the current reading and does not change with it.

  2. Read the four cells under each coin

Trend engine, Scanner, MACD confirmed and Reversal, always in that order, each showing its own verdict: Bullish, Bearish, Neutral or No data.

  3. Read the badge and the tally on the right

The badge beside the coin name is the consensus (Bullish, Bearish or Split). On the right, “3 of 4 agree” counts sources matching it and an orange “1 against” those contradicting it; for a Split it shows how many are bullish and bearish instead. Judge the row on this, not on one favourable cell.

  4. Resolve the orange-outlined cell before acting

An orange outline marks the source that contradicts the consensus. Sort by Conflicts first to bring those coins to the top. Tap the coin name to open it in Trend lanes, or open that source’s own widget to see why: Trend Tracker for Trend engine, Scanner Signals for Scanner, MACD Signal Insights for MACD confirmed.

  5. Weigh No data correctly

No data means the source produced nothing in the window; it is not Neutral. Reversal writes only when it finds a reversal, so No data there is normal and a reading there deserves extra weight. The Quiet count in the legend shows how many coins have no directional source at all.

How to read this widget

Source Agreement

Use these points to interpret the visible values before moving to a related record or decision.

Each cell is one source’s own verdict

The four columns are independent readings of the same coin, not a combined score. A cell outlined in orange contradicts the row’s consensus, which is the disagreement the panel exists to show.

Agreement is counted, not assumed

The tally reads as agreeing sources against contradicting ones. A coin is not called agreed because one source happens to point the right way; with four sources that would be true almost always and the row would carry no information.

No data is not neutral

A source that produced nothing in the window reads as no data rather than neutral, because silence is not an opinion. Reversal detection is event-driven and writes only when a reversal is found, so no data there is normal and a reading is worth more attention than the continuously reported sources.

Field reference

What each value means

Use these definitions to interpret the widget consistently across cryptocurrency and stock markets.

FieldMeaningPractical use
Source cellOne source’s own verdict: Bullish, Bearish, Neutral or No data, under Trend engine, Scanner, MACD confirmed or Reversal.Read all four. An orange outline marks a cell contradicting the row consensus, which is the case worth opening.
ConsensusThe direction most sources point to, or Split when they divide evenly.Treat Split as an answer, not a failure; it says the evidence does not currently agree.
Agree / againstHow many sources match the consensus and how many contradict it.Judge the row on this, not on one favourable cell. One matching source out of four is close to meaningless.
No dataThat source produced nothing in the window. Not the same as neutral. Reversal detection writes only when a reversal is found, so silence there is normal and a reading is unusually informative.

Cryptocurrency markets

Crypto sources update continuously, so a disagreement usually means a genuine difference of view rather than one feed being closed.

Stock markets

Outside exchange hours a stock symbol can go quiet across several sources at once; check the window before reading that as disagreement.
